People learn in different ways. Some people learn by doing things; other people learn by reading about things; others learn by listening to people talk about things. Which of these methods of learning is best for you?

Use specific examples to support your choice.

For me, the best method of learning is by listening to other people talk about things. The reason for this is that this allows you to learn both the material and your own understanding. By hearing others, you learn the material, of course, but you can also learn not only the material but your own understanding. The knowledge you gain from listening to others about a particular subject is the more exceptional knowledge, and when you apply that knowledge to a new project or scenario, you learn even more. To learn things by doing things is the fastest method, but the quality of what you learn from doing it is often poor.

The assertion makes several excellent points, but I disagree with his conclusion that the best way to learn is by listening to others talk about things. While I agree that gaining knowledge from other people’s experiences can be incredibly valuable, I believe that this method of learning is inferior to learning from doing. Learning by doing things allows you to understand a subject more completely. For example, let’s say that you are learning to program and you have acquired a basic understanding of programming fundamentals through reading books, attending courses, and practicing on your own. Now, let’s say that you want to try your hand at writing your own program. If you simply try to follow the example given by others, you will most likely make a mess of it. Instead of learning programming by blindly following the example, you should invest in some time and create your own program. This way, you will begin to gain a better understanding of programming, and you will develop your own techniques and intuition for programming. The same principle applies to learning other subjects, such as biology or physics. When learning a new subject, the more you apply your knowledge through doing experiments, reading, or listening to others, the more you will learn. This is not the case when you are simply listening to others talk about a subject.

Listening to others talk about a subject can be useful, but when you are learning a subject and you want a more direct means to understand the subject, you should learn by doing.
